Numerous mobilisations have taken place in recent days in Spain to mark the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, calling for an end to the war and “military spending on schools and hospitals”.
With the slogan “No to war. No Putin, no NATO. No to sending arms”, thousands of people in Madrid took to the streets on 25 February on a sunny but cold morning to demand that the Spanish government cease its arms policy.
