With the informality that our long and deep friendship grants us, we were able to have a sincere conversation in which the Ukrainian journalist Oleg Yasinsky -current Pressenza correspondent from Moscow- provides us with the necessary context to understand what is happening in that part of the world, in a conflict that is so much talked about and distorted by the media managed by North American interests.
Who wants war with Russia? This “imminent conflict” does not exist, Yasinsky argues, but rather serves to create a distorted image of the realities that people are experiencing. The US war machine has shown its weaknesses in Afghanistan and NATO countries are more than happy with this, so why continue to insist?
