August 30, 2015 in the afternoon, Tokyo Japan, 120,000 people held a protest rally against the security bill. Shouting slogans: “fascists intolerable!” “Abe step down!” “Abandon Security Act!”

This was the largest rally held in Japan recently, with the largest number of anti-security bill protestors rallying. In some places scenes of protesters and police were in conflict.

There were 12 heads of different groups participating, including people from the Democratic Party of Japan, the Communist Party (chairman Kazuo Shii), the Social Democratic Party, and personalities such as Yamamoto Taro – a Japanese actor and politician, together with representatives on behalf of Ichiro Ozawa of the Life Party.

Speaking at the rally was Katsuya Okada – Democratic Party (Japan) leader. Japanese mothers forming the “Mother Would” group also participated in the event.

The chanting of slogans was uproarious on the day.
