In Urdu, there is a verse—I do not know its source, but it lingers in my mind:
“One running dog said to his fellow dog: ‘Run, before you die a human’s life.’”
This speaks not to the nature of dogs—though in our context they are considered lowly, unlike in the West where they are respected—but to the humiliation of human beings, degraded beyond animals. People now scramble for shelter, aid, and rescue, yet find no sanctuary, not even in bunkers, where they are slaughtered nonetheless.
Consider these lines from Shams-i-Tabriz, translated by R.A. Nicholson:
“Poor copies out of heaven’s original,
Pale earthly pictures mouldering to decay,
What care although your beauties break and fall,
When that which gave them life endures for aye?”
If you possess an awakened consciousness and logic, you are living in hell today. There is no place left for the sensitive, the peaceful, or the humane on this planet—now overrun by the brutal ideologies of Trump, Modi, and Netanyahu, bloodthirsty men who have put the entire world at risk.
Let us confront the central question: today’s war hysteria, the mass killings via missiles launched like video games. The killers sit safely in air-conditioned rooms, clicking mouse to murder innocent children, women, and men—people who had no say in the decisions that doomed them.
We humans are mortal, yet our leaders crave earthly immortality. They play at godhood—but these are gods who lust for blood, destruction, and mutilated corpses. They are sadists, in love with death, ruling not over life but over slaughter. Their aim is to extinguish all awakened consciousness, even among those who cherish life, nature, and peace. Their binary thinking blinds them; their colorless worldview drains the vibrancy from existence. As the verse warns:
“When Colourlessness became the captive of Colour,
A Moses was at war with a Moses.”
What do Trump, Putin, Netanyahu, and Modi hope to gain from their aggression? They seek to force the world to its knees—but miscalculate. The oppressed rise, and conflict erupts in bloodshed. Their absurd actions meet equally absurd resistance, for the victims refuse to surrender. In the end, humanity pays the price in ruin.
War is not a path to achievement but to annihilation. It sows only seeds of vengeance, guaranteeing future bloodshed. Remove these few violent minds, and the world might yet know peace.
