The happy warmongers of NATO gathered in the City of Peace, The Hague, which also happens to be the government seat of the Netherlands. If you look at the picture of the European leaders together with the Dutch king and queen and president Trump you almost could believe that they were on a happy weddingparty. But unfortunately it is not so. That this latest NATO summit ( its cost to the Dutch taxpayers about 140 million euros) was in The Hague for sure has everything to do with the new Secretary General of the NATO and former prime minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, who is very keen on being the orchestrator of a new era of NATO and having Trump on board. Before the start of the summit he went out of his way to flatter Trump, going so far as to paint him nothing less than the saviour of the world and made sure his reception would be at the highest level, involving king and queen.
The hype around this NATO summit was incredible. The whole population of the Netherlands was swapped along in a wave of daily mainstream media coverage with Mark Rutte at the center of it all. This was his triumphant summit after having beaten all the EU members into accepting the 5% of GDP for extra military spending, slammed in their faces by mister Trump. This 5% extra spending had also to be sold to the public which Mark Rutte did in a very agressive way. One of his sentences to the press as a message to the 500 million population was: You can choose; or reduction in Healthcare, Education and Social security spending or over 5 years from now you can all start learning russian (alluding to another of his quote that Russia might attack the EU in 5 years more). With his fanatic expressions he has taken the stage and the EU leaders have fallen in step while the populations are standing at the side, trying to decide what to believe.
Donald Trump and the rest of the NATO warmongers, together with the in the summit present weapon industry, have left the country. The weapon industry, especialy the American Military
Industrial Complex, can be satisfied. They gloat on having many years to come a massive profit. And the 500 million Europeans? Well, they are in for a heavy storm. Because those 5% for military spending will come from government budget reductions in Healthcare, Education, Social Security, Housing and Environment protection.
The threat of the Russian Bear has been pumped into everyone’s head over the last 3 years, reinforced through media manipulations and blatant lies, in which the Ukrainian government of neonazi thugs played a fundamental role. If the European population would know the truth of what has been done since 2014 until today, there would be outrage. Therefore it is imperative that they do NOT know.
Fed with lies upon lies with the happy collaboration of our mainstream media, NATO managed to bring us to where we are today: a massive rearmament in Europe. This is a dangerous development because were armies grow again and weapons are flowing in unlimited, war is right around the corner. Not initiated by Russia, but by Europe itself, as always happened before. In truth this already was the case in a hybrid way since 2014 when NATO and Washington decided that Russia must be weakened and used Ukraine as a staging ground in which they poured nearly all their weaponry. But their plan got busted and now they start all over again. That is the reason for their 5% military spending, sold as a defensive move against a country that never attacked them. They do not care one bit about their citizens and their future, because they will not be there when future governments have to pick up the pieces.
Let us hope it will not come to that and that this time the european populations will rise up to prevent it or a total economic beakdown of the EU will make it impossible.
