The blatant and treacherous aggression of the United States cannot be left unanswered, as this would mean the destruction of the domestic and international image of the government, which has long publicly and solemnly accepted the challenge of the empire. It would amount to the self-liquidation of the Iranian government, its capitulation and dishonor.
An armed response by Iran against US military targets is precisely the pretext planned by the US and Israel to launch a large-scale war that would reduce Iran to the current state of Libya or Syria. The real correlation of forces leaves no room for other options. Therefore, Iran’s forced response to the US will be as media-friendly and symbolic as possible; any other action would be an act of madness.
But if anyone suddenly feels relieved by Trump’s recent pacifist statements, they urgently need to see a doctor. All the claims by Israel and the US that they “do not seek to overthrow the Iranian government” are aimed at the most ignorant, the mentally deficient, or naive media professionals.
The refrain that “Iran is on the verge of building its own nuclear weapon” has been repeated by Israeli authorities for more than 20 years, “forgetting” that few places in the Middle East show such harmonious coexistence between Jews and Muslims. There is a large Jewish community there, and in Iranian society there is no division between Jews and Persians. They are all Iranians, and a war is being waged against their country whose goal is not only the overthrow of a sovereign government, but the destruction of Iran, fragmenting it into regions according to ethnic criteria, as the “civilized world” is accustomed to doing everywhere.
What is underway is the elimination of the last government in the Middle East that has not subordinated itself to the West; everything else is rhetoric. The United States and Israel forgot to tell the world that they are actually bombing Iran “for the liberation of Iranian women.”
Peaceful demonstrations, artistic performances, and letters of protest, as always, will stop nothing. And, of course, the ultimate goal of Iran’s destruction is Russia and China. Only joint and immediate intervention by both can thwart this plan. And lest anyone draw hasty and irresponsible conclusions from this statement: effective interventions are not always military.
