On social networks and in the media, an endless amount of bad news appears every day, in which we can see the most heartbreaking war misdeeds. This can lead us to the false idea that the world is lost. However, there is a counterbalance to the Western roadmap based on chaos and not just an anecdotal one.

By Javier Belda.

If on the one hand, we have the decrepit Joe Biden or the psychopathic Netanyahu, on the other we have the sober Vladimir Putin or the respectful Xi Jinping.

Fortunately, the builders of peace and stability are not weak people. It is not only about strength based on economics or military might but also about words.

In the West, we do not usually pay attention to the speeches of our politicians because we find them void and superfluous. At most, we will pay attention to the announcement of some reform that we believe will affect us directly, but in general, there is a belief that politicians’ words are worthless because tomorrow they will say something else or do exactly the opposite of what they said.

This absurdity led Argentines, for example, to disregard the words of a neurotic like Javier Milei, who had already proposed the recipe of the Shock Doctrine for Argentina during his election campaign, which today has terrible consequences.

The result of the vacuity of the speakers and their audience is a reflection of the decadent mentality of the West. No one believes in anything and the values that should sustain nations, make people proud, and, above all, give hope, have succumbed to miscalculation.

Beyond the cloying coverage of the authentic FAKENEWS of our fake media… There is no good living in a world without a “what for”, in a world where no one trusts anyone anymore. This is transferred to people’s daily lives, to interpersonal and family relationships.

People repeat without attention the model of the politicians they vote for. Any shared cause and any collective values have been relegated to the strategy and the situation of the moment, under the protection of a narrative as haphazard as it is pathetic, which justifies it.

Amid this Western decadence, our hope will lie in the emergence of a new generation of dignified and courageous leaders.

If we turn our necks upward above the murmur, perhaps our look will reach the East. There we will see other values shining through. Vladimir Putin’s and Sergey Lavrov’s speeches at recent events are a case in point. It is worth paying attention to their content, for here the words do correspond to joint plans for the benefit of an entire nation. It is worth noting that what is positive for Russia will have a very positive impact on the rest of the world.

Russia’s ruling United Russia party announced its decision to unanimously support incumbent President Vladimir Putin as the country’s presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.

The party holds 324 seats in the State Duma (lower house of the Russian parliament) and thus has a constitutional majority.

At a conference last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked the United Russia party for its continued support. “It is important to me, we have a lot to make together,” he declared.

During his speech to party members, the president stressed the need to defend state sovereignty together with the Russian people, as well as to strengthen the country’s development and work for the consolidation of society.

“Russia cannot, like some countries, renounce its sovereignty and become someone’s satellite,” Putin stressed.

In his words, despite differences in views and opinions, all political forces of the state must remember that the main thing is “the hope of the people”. “Russia will be a self-sufficient sovereign power or it will not exist.”

“Only the people are the fountain of power, and we will protect it,” he said.

On foreign relations, Putin stressed that Russia is not to blame for the deterioration of relations with Europe. He also stressed that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is “a huge tragedy, similar to a civil war between brothers”.

“By unleashing real aggression against Russia, Western elites tried to collapse not only the country’s economy and social sector but our political and state system.”

“They believed and still believe that they will be able to sow internal unrest in Russia. The means of such destabilization are well known and were tested by the West in many regions of the world within the framework of the so-called color revolutions.”

“But such recipes did not work and, I am sure, will not work about Russia – a free, independent, and sovereign state. Our society, all branches of power and levels of government, showed maturity, resilience, and sustainability.”

We summarise the highlights of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speech during a meeting with Russia’s top defense commanders:

🔸 The activity of the NATO military bloc as a whole has increased sharply. Significant US forces, including aviation, have moved to our borders, and the number of alliance troops in Eastern and Central Europe has increased.

NATO’s aggressive nature can no longer be hidden. <…> US doctrinal documents contain direct claims to world hegemony.

🔸 The West does not reject its strategy of containing Russia and its aggressive aims in Ukraine. Well, we are not going to give up our objectives in the special military operation either.

🔸 All attempts, as the West said, to inflict a military defeat, a strategic defeat, met with the courage and steadfastness of our soldiers.

🔸 The Americans were very frightened by Russia’s approach to Europe. They consider that they should be the masters there.

🔸 Now the US is shifting the burden of financial responsibility and payments to Europe as well. And the weak and spineless generation of today’s politicians in Europe cannot cope with this, considering their overwhelming dependence on the media, on the economy, on politics.

🔸 The only guarantor of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity was Russia. Russia, when it created the Soviet Union, handed it huge historical Russian territories, huge potential, along with its population, and invested huge resources in all that territory.

Russia’s role in a multitude of world scenarios is very relevant. In this regard, we quote an excerpt from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s speech at the 6th plenary session of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum held in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.

After the terrorist attack of 7 October, which we categorically condemn, the situation in the oldest hot spot in that part of the world, in the Palestinian-Israeli confrontation zone, has drastically worsened. This time, the violence we see daily reached an unprecedented and truly catastrophic scale. <…>

Regrettably, our many efforts to get the UN Security Council to pass a resolution for a ceasefire in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone come up against the fierce opposition of the United States, which occupies a biased position and as always seeks to usurp any process and initiative.

In coordination with our partners, we are continuing efforts to stabilize the situation in a lasting way and to bring the resolution of the conflict to the diplomatic level.

Outbreaks of violence will occur in the Middle East until the injustice of many years is redressed and until the Palestinian people achieve their right to create an independent state with the capital in East Jerusalem, as stipulated by multiple UN Security Council and General Assembly resolutions. <…>

Some external forces are not averse to using the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in their interest and fanning the flames of regional hostilities. All of this is in line with the many previous adventures of the US and its allies in the Middle East over the past twenty years.

They resulted in undermined states, hundreds of thousands of casualties, huge refugee flows, and worsening socio-economic problems. The goal is clear: to weaken countries that pursue an independent foreign policy.
