A panel discussion to commemorate the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons and celebrate the news that Sri Lanka has become the 69th state to ratify or accede to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. Moments like these are important to reflect on the progress we have made on nuclear disarmament, but also to reinvigorate us to take further action.

During the event, regional experts, youth representatives, and activists will share their expertise about the significance of the ASEAN region, the humanitarian impact of nuclear weapons, and the importance of youth activism.
