On this show we speak with Dr. Natasha Gordon-Chipembere about the structural discrimination embedded in US society, an issue which has resurfaced with the killing of George Floyd by the police. “Black, brown and indigenous people are basically saying that we have never, since the colonial moment, be able to strand in the full integrity of our humanity and get our full human rights” says Natasha. Natasha is an author who is currenlty writing a historical fiction novel on the Black Madonna (LA Negrita) set in 1634 Costa Rica.
