Power Beyond Borders is a mass action camp which aims to show solidarity with migrants as well as taking direct action against new gas infrastructure from 26th – 31st July. It’s organised by Reclaim the Power.

They will be showing us how to:

  • Shut down the new gas infrastructure threatening to fuel the climate crisis even further;
  • Join the fight to dismantle the racist borders of the UK Hostile Environment;
  • Show practical solidarity, learn, and unite our love and rage against injustice!

Join us to find out how you get involved with ‘Power Beyond Borders’- a mass action camp for climate and migrant justice in south-east England, from July 26-31.

Why? Because the climate crisis is a racist crisis and its impacts on indigenous people and people of colour are escalating. So must our actions at key sites of struggle: the UK border regime and new gas power infrastructure.

Everyone is welcome, especially if you’ve never been involved in anything like this before. At the camp, food’s provided, friendships forged in facing adversity, and a whole program of training, workshops, talks, musical entertainment and events to get everyone informed, engaged and skilled up.

The camp will be at a secret location in the South East of England, within reach of London. We will let you know exactly where nearer the time.

You should bring a tent, suncream, a sleeping bag, and warm clothes.

You can buy coach tickets to the camp from London on the link here –

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/coach-tickets-from-london-to-power-beyond-borders-camp-tickets-61901406774

Coaches from other cities will be arranged shortly, or get in contact if you want to organise transport from where you are.
We will take a piece of land and put up marquees, a kitchen, a renewable power stage, compost loos, and little sinks to wash hands, and you can pitch your tent there!

We provide compost toilets.
We provide vegan food.
We will work to make the site as accessible as possible, but it will be outdoors.
Once on site everyone is crew and we all pitch in to help.

Entry is on donation, plus donations to cover food. It’s expensive to run a camp so we hope people do donate but for those who cannot donate much or at all, that is no problem as the camp should be inclusive for all who want to take action!
