Tens of thousands of protesters shuffled across the Brooklyn Bridge after more than 2,700 undocumented children have been separated from their parents when the zero-tolerance policy was put into effect by the Trump administration.

The rally began at Foley Square in Manhattan at 10:30 a.m. Protesters marched through Manhattan and across the Brooklyn Bridge before rallying in Cadman Plaza around 11:45 a.m. It was one of more than 600 demonstrations taking place this weekend, from the nation’s capital to Appalachia.
