Not having managed to make a clear case for bombing Syria the UK Prime Minister resorts to insulting the leader of the opposition and others proposing a different strategy to defeat Isil by calling them “terrorist sympathisers” ahead of tomorrow’s vote in the House of Commons. “Britain is being sucked into another illegal, open-ended conflict which will achieve nothing beyond giving the cycle of violence another spin.” (Andrew Murray, Stop the War). Thousands of people took today to the London streets to demonstrate against the bombings.
