Saudi Arabia is an obscurantist absolute monarchy. Young Ali al-Nimr, sentenced to death by beheading and crucifixion because of protesting, is only one of the many Saudi victims. The Saudis have been bombing Yemen since 3/26/2015, killing thousands of civilians and destroying historical monuments. The Saudis are enforcing a cruel naval and aerial blockade of Yemen. The Saudis are directly responsible for the destruction of Syria and are the main supporters of terrorism, starting in the 1980’s in Afghanistan. The Saudis helped create and supply Isis, the monstrous New Caliphate. Inside their country, the Saudis violate the human rights of migrants, women and minorities. The Saudis buy the silence of governments, media and Ngo’s with their petrodollars. And despite all this, the Saudis have just been appointed head of a UN Human Rights Council group!!!
