“Nothing above the Human Being and no Human Being above another”

Humanist Party (HP) Spain: The Election Campaign begins with the slogan: “Nothing above the Human Being and no Human Being above another”.

Again – since it was founded in 1984 – the Humanist Party participates in the Local and Regional Elections, on May 24th, with the slogan: “Nothing Above the Human Being and no Human Being Above Another” The HP puts forward proposals which it has upheld throughout it´s history and which have been developed into a Humanist Municipal Plan.

Some of these historical proposals – like Non-Violence, Public Banks Without Interest and Real Democracy – are revived by Arthur and John, Humanist Candidates in one of the videos prepared for the campaign.

Laura – also a Humanist Candidate – emphasizes the consistency of a political project that has always marked the failure of a system whose central value is money. Any analysis and any changes must be considered from the point of view of the Human Being.

In this Electoral Campaign the Humanist Party points to the core on which this inhuman system – that we all live in – rests: Individualism. In contrast with this, the Humanist Candidates are people who perceive the world as a whole and understand that what happens to others – however different they are from us – eventually affects us too.

The Humanist Party advocates for a new Social Construction that germinates in the districts and municipalities, in which every human being has the possibility to contribute. The campaign begins with action-oriented communication with the residents of the neighbourhoods where the Humanist Proposals are spread via Leaflets, Posters and the Humanist Municipal Plan. On Sunday, there will be a paella for 600 people in Alcala de Henares.
