I noticed a simple announcement on the Facebook page of friend Andres Koryzma, “Inmensidad by Andres Koryzma, for free on Grooveshark. So I got in touch to find out more.

“I want to share with my friends a little bit of music. This product came about a bit late but the intention is to make progress in the production of music. The album title translates more-or-less … the vastness of it… and this is the track final.”

I appreciated what I heart – as music is indeed universal – and I asked Andres Koryzma about his intentions and he replied: “It’s just music that I’ve begun composing using a Swedish computer program Reason. This program translates what I play on a digital keyboard in to the instrument I want. While I play keyboards with this program I can play a full orchestra …”

My reply was, hi Andres, so it’s not a money game for you, it is creating music that somehow comes through you. Your compilations then are compilation of your own productions or are complications of others works too? Are you getting more into this or is it a phase. On my part, when I write don’t have a sort of schedule, especially at the moment. There were times when I was writing something specific and I always feel good about completing such project. Do you entertain others or is it for personal solace?

Andres Koryzma: “They are original personal works … but I think that sometimes you accidentally copy musical phrases that you hear somewhere, is just what memory does, without remembering from where, it is a delivery of sorts. It’s not about money, I am pleased to develop new expressions that hopefully move towards the deeper in us.

“When alone it happens that for me as then it becomes easy to allow the expression of a deep something, but this does not work in public. If in public I tend to close in to the subjective and elaborate something more rigid and rational; however when there is no “outside viewer” watching me, sometimes, the subjective flowing through surprises me, just by the things that come out of me do likewise.

“I’ve been at this since about three years ago, though intermittent. At times I am saturated and at other times I feel they are repetitive translations that need new experiences to express further, for a new creation … I am interested in deepening the inspired states and that has to do with ascesis.
