Moscow, Feb 4 (Prensa Latina) President of the Syrian National Coalition (CNFROS), Ahmed Yarba confirmed today his organization will participate in the second round of negotiations with the government of Bashar Al Assad in Geneva, to be held on February 10.

During his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Serguei Lavrov, Yarba assured they decided to move towards a political solution.

Yarba insisted on the fact that Damascus must comply with the regulations of the June 30, 2012 Geneva Communiqué especially the creation of a transition government in Syria for which the opposition already prepared a list of candidates.

On the other hand, Lavrov urged his European partners, United States and the Middle East to work with all the political parties involved in the Syrian conflict and not with terrorists.

Yarba underlined the intention of CNFROS that the United States, western powers and even Russia pressure the legitimate leader of Damascus so that he resigns from his post.

CNFROS has focused, as the main issue of the negotiations, on the creation of a transition body in Syria as a condition for the cease fire without taking into consideration the government proposals to fight terrorism and mercenaries.
