Tulsi Sigdel writes and posts in her Facebook page her heartfelt feelings and well wishes about the recent developments and outcome after the Nepalese Gen-Z youths and citizens came together in a series of street marches and demonstrations that hoped to usher in much needed political change.

“I would like to thank– Decler Mendez Hague : Australia, Marco Inglessis: Italy, Antonio Carvallo: UK, Sudhir Gondotra/ Deepak/ Rukaiya/ Abhishek : India, Mohammad Nazrul Islam/Sabrina: Bangladesh, and Krishan Lal Sharma/Irsad Ahmad: Pakistan– for your regard, and well wishes for all of our Nepali Humanist friends and team during the protest.

All of you would surely like to know about the present situation and now I am feeling good to share the latest developments. Finally, Nepal has just recently got the FIRST WOMAN PRIME MINISTER. (September 12, 2025 9:00 PM).

We, all humanists, actively participates from our side. I am from Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu Kabir Ranjitkar(Banepa), and Alysha Hm Alyssa Mahat (Panauti) from Kavre with the team.

I personally like to share my feelings now.

The day (7th of September) was when Gen Z declared the protest against corruption, unstable government and their impractical banning of social media. Just to recall, the 9th March 2025 protest was organized by some other Nepalese group and there were some very cruel situations generated by some unknown group, with the indirect support from the governmental side (as all people of Nepal said).

I feel so bad emotionally because the system of Nepal was so worse. The Nepal Government, at the time, cannot understand the value of life. I was so worried about Gen Z so I made a short video from my side and posted it on TikTok and Facebook, saying that they must and have to be careful with those people who might enter the group in the name of support but instead to harm them.

And the massive protest happened on the 8th of September, 2025. The day became crueler and more dirty then we imagine….no one in the country or the people all around the world can believe how could such things happen when the country has a government. Which was just so unfair and full of injustice. We all like the mother just felt like going and kill them back– the responsible persons from the government side and those double-faced criminal group.  Those who came to kill the Gen Z in an ambulance, kill our Gen Z.

I posted a short video against the Government who is just unable to the save the people of the nation.

On the morning of the 9th, when I was just doing my daily work, my 19 years’ old nephew asked me to give him permission to be part of the protest. I was thinking that the emergency is there outside, there in my city, how could he go there and I asked him again how could you go ….. all the roads are blocked and the army is all around. He replied to me that they aren’t afraid to cross the road. All his friends are calling him to cross the road and he must and wants to go. I felt glad and join him. Together, I took a part of the protest with my nephew and with my friend’s son, who was also actively participating.

The result is here.

Having a PRIME MINISTER for the Nation. Now the first FEMALE PRIME MINISTER.

We were still waiting to give support to Gen Z if they call again. But the moment is here, we have got the new prime minister.

My Role in the Protest:

    1. Stand behind the Gen Z (my nephew and friend’s son).
    2. Request participants if they made some injustice to a non-related person. ( Don’t harm any others’ personal properties or public properties)

My Learning:

    1. The Gen Z and other support persons like me show their patience and control their emotion against the leader.
    2. Because there were enough tools to kill the leader in their house while they catch them at their house, the supporters and the Gen Z showed the value of humanism. and safely handovered them to the Army.
    3. There was enough money and gold ornaments to collect, but the real Gen Z and support persons just came back home after completing their work.

These learnings mean that we still have humanity which can build the peaceful future.

But to those in a group who believe in killing them back or stole some money or ornaments … we humanists always believe that they have to learn the valid actions in life. Slowly ……gradually  ….. Peace …… Force and Joy.

We are really very, very happy.”
