While the war rages on between the USA, Israel and the Banking-Military Industrial complex against the self proclaimed representatives of Allah in Iran, with the suspected support of Russia, China and some Arab Royal Families, Theocracries, etc. the clamour for Peace from the Persian/Iranian people specially women of the diaspora in the Western cities of Toronto and Berlin is quite widespread.
The repression and slaughtering of young Iranian women in January of this year continues albeit at a slower pace.
The families of Iranian people in the Toronto and Berlin diaspora can only get news via landline calls originating in Iran. The phone calls most of the time try to reassure their relatives outside that so far the ones getting targeted are the Iranian Republican Guard and Religious Theocrats. The families inside Iran fear it will get worse but for now there’s safety in their homes away from the Army and Theocrats.
They aren’t happy with the prospect of a Pavlawi back in Power but feel ok as long as that transitional Government opens pathways to Democracy and Women’s Rights.
But the most unanimous call is STOP THIS WAR and bullies from both factions take a step back and cease hostilities.
One can only hope that this violent psycho-social pandemic can abate through dialogue, diplomacy, negotiations and good will to the suffering of the civilians.
