Given the current global situation and before the human heart is fully immersed in frustration, vengeance, and resentment, I believe it’s time to reveal a profound meaning in life. A meaning capable of guiding us towards the experience of reconciliation with ourselves and with the others. A meaning capable of guiding the process of reconciliation of our own species. A meaning that will help us to build a new global hope.
In a global world, any violent act that ends in the desire to concentrate more power and more wealth inevitably contaminates the environment and creates suffering in the human mind. This circuit of the concentration of power and wealth constantly feeds itself and influences the direction of events in the world and our life. It leads humanity towards fear, violence, destruction and the ‘nothingness’ of life.
What allows this circuit to regress?
Faith in oneself, faith in the others and in the future.
Without faith in ourselves, in the others and in the future, there is fear and violence. Our collective and personal fears breeds the mechanical violent acts of the constant circuit of the concentration of power and wealth.
There are no easy solutions to violence; the world is on the verge of exploding. No ideology, political party or Gods can resolve this insane and absurd direction of events.
But when someone breaks free from their personal and collective daydreams and fears. When someone understands that schizophrenic individualism has reached a dead end and that the entire mechanical circuit of concentration of power and wealth will bring more destruction and nothingness. Then a new meaning based on what is good for life emerges.
As the strength and the light of life penetrate our mind and our heart we will learn to build a global hope.
What is good in this world is everything that improves human beings and life.
What is bad is everything that restrains the growth of life and the expansion of human consciousness.
What is good is harmony between people, cultures and religion
What is bad is when human beings lose faith in themselves and in others
What is good is helping people to have faith in themselves and others
What is bad is authoritarianism, fanaticism, and fascism system based on a monocular vision which limits the expression and the way of thinking of half of humanity (female members of the human species)
What is good is making a courageous and profound commitment to reconciliation with ourselves and with our own species.
What is good is a meaning in life that propels us into a new future
What is bad is to say there is no meaning to life, there is no future. (1)
