Over the course of the last year or two, I’ve had a few exchanges with friends who’ve expressed, let’s call it “concern”, at my outspokenness regarding the duplicity and warmongering that have become central features of the Democratic Party’s M.O. in the 21st century. Some of these friends have appeared to be a little stand-offish and on a few occasions, they’ve inquired as to whether I have “moved to the right”, with a few assuming that maybe I’d “gone MAGA”.
So, here’s the deal: Compared to 99% of Democrats, I’m a tip-of-the-left-wing, trans, socialist-communist fighter pilot who shoots flowers out of his ass (figuratively speaking). In my book, if you’re a “centrist Democrat” (or a Republican) in 2026 you’re a myopic, perpetual war enabling, oligarch ennobling drone (politically speaking) who’s either incapable or unwilling to make the effort to move outside of the mind numbing 2-lane pen that this violence-centered culture has tricked you into equating with “reasonable” reality. In short, I’d sooner jump off of the Brooklyn Bridge than support ANY donor-owned servant of the bipartisan war-obsessed multi-billionaire billionaire class. Call it Conscientious Rejection.
You guys need to try to stop seeing authentic, well-meaning critical thinking as a threat. Questioning the status quo narrative used to be an admirable thing in our Democratic party. These days it’s practically equated with treason.
Anyway, nothing personal (believe it or not). I’ve got friends that come from the left, right and center (whatever those terms mean nowadays?). Just setting the record straight, is all.
