Henri Oscar Communication, a publishing house specializing in nonviolence education is launching the race : Palestinian children have the right to a humane and nonviolent future.
The Run This Way race is Nonviolence school programm and was lauch on International Day of Peace.
This campaign aims to support the New York Declaration adopted on September 12, 2025, by members of the United Nations General Assembly for the recognition and the reconstruction of Palestine. But the Declaration is not enough to end the genocide of Palestinian children.
Run This Way for nonviolent invites students, teachers and schools to organizes races and to accumulate kilometers for a ceasefire. We can demand that the General Assembly stop the genocide. Indeed, on September 18, for the sixth time, a resolution for cease fire was rejected by the United Nations Security Council. It is primarily the Americans who oppose the ceasefire.
Thus, all the kilometers run by the students will be donated to the countries at the United Nations General Assembly to invoke Resolution 377. This resolution empowers the Assembly to take action if the Security Council fails to do so due to a negative vote by a permanent member, in the event of a threat to the peace, a breach of the peace, or an act of aggression.
Why run for the children in Palestine?
- According to UNICEF, since the beginning of the war, 61,000 Palestinians have been killed, including at least 18,000 children.
- Virtually all schools and hospitals have been destroyed.
- 154,000 have been injured, including 45,000 children. According to the United Nations,
70% of those killed are children and women.
Resolution 377 will allow the General Assembly to immediately put in place measures to end the genocide in Gaza.
