On Sunday, August 10, BDS Greece, March to Gaza, and the Palestinian community in Greece organized a national day of action on islands and tourist destinations because:
- Tourism cannot be used to whitewash war crimes.
- We cannot violate fundamental rights such as freedom of expression, which is enshrined in the Constitution.
- Solidarity is not a crime.
- Cooperation with Israel is complicity.
Institutions, political movements, political parties, and ordinary citizens have joined their voices to respond to this call. The country, despite being in the midst of summer, has observed a day of mobilization and solidarity, with more rallies and meetings than those depicted on the map.
