I have been trained as a mathematician and a scientist, but, for as long as I can remember, I have thought that war is a very bad thing, that it must be avoided. In the 1980's, I have been involved in UBC students for peace and disarmament, and have taken part in Vancouver's yearly walks for peace. More recently, in Regina, I have been involved in the "Making Peace Vigil" and in the "Regina Peace Council". In March 2021, I started being a translator for Pressenza. Later on, after a course on making videos with Equis Lab/Pressenza, and a course on nonviolent journalism with Pressenza, I started making videos on peace and nonviolence for Pressenzaalc and writing articles for Pressenza.
