Several dozen people from all over the world took part in the start of the Peace Walk to Jerusalem today, February 1, from Finisterre. A delegation from the World March for Peace and Nonviolence, which will celebrate its fourth edition this year, also participated at the start of the walk.

The walk will cross the whole of Europe to reach Jerusalem in June 2027, raising awareness and calling for a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but also to the many other conflicts that inflame our planet.

The Peacewalk is a collective pilgrimage along the world’s longest peace trail, the Jerusalem Way. It is open to everyone and anyone can participate for an hour, a day, a month, or more. “This is a journey for justice, peace, and human dignity. A nonviolent and popular action, uniting voices that oppose oppression, occupation, and violence, for reconciliation, equality, and peace for all.”
