We, Combatants for Peace, Palestinians and Israelis, invite you to a three-day hunger strike in protest and solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Gaza, who are subjected to a policy of deliberate starvation and complete deprivation of basic living conditions.
The strike will take place in Beit Jala, at the same time as with the hunger strike initiated by the Supreme Coordinating Committee of the 48′ Palestinians.
This hunger strike is a tool of civil struggle and joint nonviolent resistance, and it expresses our resolute refusal to use starvation as a weapon.
We refuse to continue living our lives as usual while starvation is used to destroy the lives of an entire people and to destroy the common future of all of us. We believe that true peace begins with joint nonviolent resistance to injustice.
