Ilhan Sami \u00c7omak, o poeta curdo que est\u00e1 encarcerado em uma pris\u00e3o turca h\u00e1 28 anos, recebeu o Pr\u00eamio de Poesia Metin Alt\u0131ok e o Pr\u00eamio Noruegu\u00eas pela Liberdade de Express\u00e3o (Metin Alt\u0131ok Poetry Prize<\/em> e Norwegian Freedom of Expression Award, <\/em>respectivamente), o \u00faltimo compartilhado com o escritor e jornalista turco Ahmet Altan.<\/p>\n

O j\u00fari do pr\u00eamio Metin Alt\u0131ok declarou que\u00a0<\/a>\u201cIlham vem reconstruindo o mundo e a humanidade com uma poesia maravilhosa, cuja linguagem delicada fala de amor e paix\u00e3o pela liberdade e de um sonho de paz, embora o poeta mesmo n\u00e3o usufrua desta liberdade h\u00e1 28 anos\u201d.<\/p>\n

Quando Ilhan tinha 22 anos, foi preso, indiciado e condenado por inc\u00eandio criminoso, com sua pr\u00f3pria confiss\u00e3o servindo como evid\u00eancia. O Tribunal Europeu dos Direitos Humanos (TEDH) determinou que a confiss\u00e3o havia sido obtida sob tortura. A respeito dessa situa\u00e7\u00e3o, Ilhan comenta: \u201cMinha condena\u00e7\u00e3o deve terminar em tr\u00eas anos e meio. Em 2014, enviei uma peti\u00e7\u00e3o ao TEDH e, nos \u00faltimos seis anos, meu processo tem estado no Tribunal Constitucional da Turquia. Venho esperando uma resposta para as minhas apela\u00e7\u00f5es, mas eles continuam em sil\u00eancio [\u2026]\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ele explica tamb\u00e9m:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAs acusa\u00e7\u00f5es que levaram \u00e0 minha condena\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o incrivelmente inconsistentes; t\u00e3o fora da realidade ou de qualquer l\u00f3gica que a minha senten\u00e7a foi anulada duas vezes, em uma dessas ocasi\u00f5es, inclusive, por uma Alta Corte Administrativa Militar. Fui julgado tr\u00eas vezes ao longo de um per\u00edodo de 22 anos, mas a senten\u00e7a original, ditada pela comiss\u00e3o de tr\u00eas pessoas do Tribunal de Seguran\u00e7a do Estado \u2013 em outras palavras, um tribunal com um juiz militar \u2013, nunca foi revogada. Embora as leis atuais limitem senten\u00e7as que alcancem os 22 anos, fui condenado mesmo assim\u2026 Al\u00e9m disso, sou curdo e, por muito tempo, uma pr\u00e1tica cruel, chamada de \u201clei do inimigo\u201d, tem estado em vigor para punir os curdos. [\u2026]\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Ipek Ozel, advogada de Ilhan que recebeu em Oslo o pr\u00eamio em nome do poeta, disse: \u201cEstou t\u00e3o emocionada por Ilhan e por Ahmet, e muito orgulhosa de Ilhan. Apesar de toda a maldade que teve que enfrentar, ele conseguiu proteger sua bela alma e n\u00e3o desistiu em momento algum, pelo contr\u00e1rio. \u00c9 claro que est\u00e1 exausto desses longos 28 anos de encarceramento, mas \u00e9 como Ilhan sempre diz, ele fica feliz ao ver sua poesia lentamente se consolidar e lhe trazer amor e amigos genu\u00ednos\u201d.<\/p>\n
