?<\/em><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Ce n&rsquo;est pas une question frivole.<\/span> P<span class=\"notranslate\">our la majorit\u00e9 des habitants des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s occidentales, le mod\u00e8le de travail est probablement le principal obstacle pour avoir du temps livre au quotidien.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">On nous donne le choix de travailler ou pas : <\/span><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">ce n&rsquo;est en aucun cas la vision immense d&rsquo;une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 libre, en particulier d&rsquo;une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 aux richesses mat\u00e9rielles sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"notranslate\"><em>Mais si nous pouvions prolonger notre temps personnel ?<\/em><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> \u00c0 la recherche d&rsquo;une plus grande libert\u00e9, un mouvement pour le travail de quatre jours a rapidement \u00e9volu\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Nous travaillons excessivement sur une base chronique et souffrons d&rsquo;une crise de d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration de notre sant\u00e9 mentale.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> En 2018, le nombre total de jours perdus en raison du stress, de l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et de la d\u00e9pression li\u00e9s au travail au Royaume-Uni est pass\u00e9 de 3 millions \u00e0 15,4 millions.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> La charge de travail excessive est la principale cause de maladie au travail, un jour de travail sur quatre est perdu du fait des heures de travail excessives.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Le probl\u00e8me est mondial : au Japon, environ 10 000 travailleurs meurent chaque ann\u00e9e apr\u00e8s de longues heures de travail.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Le probl\u00e8me est si intense qu\u2019on lui a donn\u00e9 un nom sp\u00e9cifique: kar\u014dshi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/gifer.com\/embed\/2EmB\" width=\"480\" height=\"288.000\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em><span class=\"notranslate\">kar\u014dshi, l<\/span>e d\u00e9c\u00e8s provoqu\u00e9 par le surmenage.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Les longues heures de travail sont non seulement toxiques pour la sant\u00e9, mais ont \u00e9galement peu de sens pour l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie : l&rsquo;Allemagne, les Pays-Bas et la Norv\u00e8ge ont la dur\u00e9e de travail minimale en Europe.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Pourtant, la productivit\u00e9 est inf\u00e9rieure de 26% au Royaume-Uni par rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;Allemagne, o\u00f9 les employ\u00e9s travaillent moins d&rsquo;heures.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Si les fonctionnaires allemands cessaient de travailler jeudi \u00e0 midi, ils produiraient le m\u00eame travail qu&rsquo;un employ\u00e9 britannique avant la fin du vendredi.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Au Japon, la main-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre en surnombre a les taux de productivit\u00e9 les plus bas parmi les pays du G7.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>Notre mod\u00e8le de travail ne fonctionne pas et est anachronique.<\/strong><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>Il contribue \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuer des probl\u00e8mes profonds et interd\u00e9pendants au sein des \u00e9conomies, notamment la croissance des formes d\u2019emploi non formelles, l\u2019impact de l\u2019automatisation, la persistance des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s entre les hommes et les femmes, la productivit\u00e9 <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">encrass\u00e9e<\/span><\/span>, la polarisation continue du travail et les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s de revenus \u00e9normes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Certains progressent avec succ\u00e8s vers un monde de moins de travail.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Les syndicats \u00e0 travers l&rsquo;Europe commencent \u00e0 faire campagne pour moins d&rsquo;heures.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> L&rsquo;association allemande IG Metall et le syndicat des travailleurs de la communication du Royaume-Uni ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des progr\u00e8s significatifs dans ce domaine, tandis que l&rsquo;Institut syndical europ\u00e9en et la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration des syndicats ont \u00e9galement soulev\u00e9 la question de moins d&rsquo;heures hebdomadaires de travail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Certaines administrations locales exp\u00e9rimentent.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> En 2015, le conseil municipal de Reykjavik en Islande a men\u00e9 une application pilote de r\u00e9duction de la dur\u00e9e hebdomadaire du travail d&rsquo;environ 4 heures par personne.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Avec 70 personnes, l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience a \u00e9t\u00e9 un tel succ\u00e8s qu&rsquo;elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tendue \u00e0 2 000 employ\u00e9s municipaux et risque de devenir permanente.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\"> En Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande \/ Aotearoa, <em>Perpetual Guardian<\/em> est devenu la ligne de front en transf\u00e9rant son personnel \u00e0 un poste hebdomadaire de 4 jours sans r\u00e9duction de salaire.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Les performances sont rest\u00e9es stables, tandis que l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre entre le travail, la vie personnelle et le niveau de stress du personnel se sont nettement am\u00e9lior\u00e9s.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Des organisations \u00e0 travers l&rsquo;Europe et les \u00c9tats-Unis suivent cette voie en exp\u00e9rimentant diff\u00e9rents mod\u00e8les de travail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\">Nous constatons <strong>une nouvelle politique du temps de la<\/strong> part des syndicats, des activistes, des partis politiques et des entreprises.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> La r\u00e9duction du temps de travail hebdomadaire est une r\u00e9ponse pratique et humaine aux multiples crises auxquelles notre \u00e9conomie est confront\u00e9e.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Mais c\u2019est plus qu\u2019une r\u00e9ponse technique \u00e0 ces probl\u00e8mes : une r\u00e9duction du temps de travail d\u00e9tendrait les cha\u00eenes de travail et \u00e9largirait le temps o\u00f9 nous pourrions tous nous sentir vraiment libres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Par
