Une ballerine en plein grand jet\u00e9, suspendue en l\u2019air avec un drapeau chilien flottant au-dessus de sa t\u00eate, tandis qu\u2019en arri\u00e8re-plan s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve un canon \u00e0 eau et un camion de munitions : symbole de la r\u00e9pression \u00e9tatique criminelle \u00e0 Santiago du Chili en 2019. Le rouge de sa robe coule comme une blessure vive. Son corps, en tension parfaite, ne fuit pas : il affronte v\u00eatu de sa seule armure ext\u00e9rieure, un tutu, car l\u2019autre \u00e9tait port\u00e9e dans l\u2019esprit. Elle, toute enti\u00e8re \u2014 son corps, son \u00e2me, sa danse \u2014 s\u2019est \u00e9lev\u00e9e face \u00e0 l\u2019infamie, en pleine rue, et tout cela \u00e0 la fois fut la barricade humaine de ce jour-l\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Cette image, prise pendant l\u2019explosion sociale chilienne en octobre 2019, a concentr\u00e9 en un seul geste la volont\u00e9 d\u2019un peuple de ne pas collaborer \u00e0 l\u2019injustice et d\u2019affronter le terrorisme d\u2019\u00c9tat, en grande partie avec les armes de la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et la conviction tonitruante de la dignit\u00e9. Toute r\u00e9volution commence avec des barricades et du chaos, comme au Chili ce mois d\u2019octobre-l\u00e0, et au milieu de la fum\u00e9e et de la confusion, soudain, tu comprends tout, et tu sais que nous sommes tous sur le m\u00eame trottoir lorsque ce sont les artistes les plus classiques et savants qui sortent dans les rues avec leurs danses, op\u00e9ras et instruments. Et aujourd\u2019hui, en voyant, depuis le c\u0153ur d\u2019une des plus illustres institutions britanniques, ce m\u00eame geste surgir de nouveau, je ne peux qu\u2019apaiser le c\u0153ur gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la certitude produite par le fait de savoir \u2014 d\u2019\u00eatre s\u00fbre \u2014 qu\u2019apr\u00e8s tant d\u2019avoir parl\u00e9 de Gaza et march\u00e9 dans la rue sans fin, d\u00e9sormais, nous sommes, tous ceux que nous sommes, du m\u00eame c\u00f4t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">C\u2019est un pas \u00e9norme. De cela, rien ni personne ne revient pareil. M\u00eame si la nouvelle n\u2019est pas relay\u00e9e plus largement par la presse ou ignor\u00e9e, la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 v\u00e9cue d\u00e9montre qu\u2019on ne revient pas pareil, mais conscient d\u2019\u00eatre germe de vie et de paix.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2624965 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pressenza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/1000095650.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1440\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pressenza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/1000095650.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/www.pressenza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/1000095650-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pressenza.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/1000095650-820x615.jpg 820w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">La d\u00e9cision du Royal Ballet and Opera (RBO) d\u2019annuler sa repr\u00e9sentation de Tosca \u00e0 Tel-Aviv n\u2019est pas une affaire administrative ni une simple reprogrammation pour raisons de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. C\u2019est une fracture \u00e9thique. Un acte d\u2019insurrection morale au c\u0153ur de l\u2019appareil culturel europ\u00e9en, men\u00e9 non par les directeurs mais par les corps : danseurs, techniciens, artistes de sc\u00e8ne et travailleurs administratifs qui ont sign\u00e9 une lettre interne, sans d\u00e9tour ni rh\u00e9torique. Ils ont refus\u00e9 d\u2019aller en Isra\u00ebl. Refus\u00e9 de collaborer. Refus\u00e9 de se rendre complices.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">L\u2019annulation, confirm\u00e9e le 4 ao\u00fbt 2025, est ancr\u00e9e dans la protestation de 182 membres du RBO, qui ont d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 non seulement les crimes de guerre \u00e0 Gaza, mais aussi le double discours de l\u2019institution, qui, quelques mois plus t\u00f4t, avait offert des repr\u00e9sentations gratuites aux soldats isra\u00e9liens apr\u00e8s la production conjointe de Turandot. L\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment d\u00e9clencheur fut l\u2019incident du 19 juillet lors d\u2019une repr\u00e9sentation d\u2019Il Trovatore, o\u00f9 l\u2019artiste Daniel Perry a d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 un drapeau palestinien sur sc\u00e8ne. Le directeur artistique, Oliver Mears, a tent\u00e9 de le lui arracher au beau milieu de la repr\u00e9sentation. Le geste autoritaire a d\u00e9clench\u00e9 une vague d\u2019indignation interne.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Contrairement \u00e0 d\u2019autres actes symboliques, il y a cette fois-ci une cons\u00e9quence structurelle : le Royal Ballet and Opera ne jouera pas en Isra\u00ebl. Pas tant que Gaza est un territoire assi\u00e9g\u00e9, bombard\u00e9, massacr\u00e9. Pas tant que des h\u00f4pitaux sont d\u00e9truits, comme la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressenza.com\/es\/2025\/08\/clinica-bombardeada-y-decision-de-conquista-netanyahu-precipita-el-colapso-final-de-gaza\/\">clinique de l\u2019ONU r\u00e9duite en ruines la nuit du 5 ao\u00fbt<\/a>. Et pas tant que le premier ministre Benyamin N\u00e9tanyahou, avec son ministre de la D\u00e9fense Yoav Gallant, annonce la pr\u00e9paration d\u2019une \u201cinvasion d\u00e9finitive\u201d pour occuper la bande de Gaza. \u201cLa guerre continuera jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que toute la bande de Gaza soit sous le contr\u00f4le isra\u00e9lien\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Gallant hier \u00e0 Tel-Aviv.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">La r\u00e9action internationale n\u2019a pas tard\u00e9. L\u2019ONU, par la voix de plusieurs rapporteurs sp\u00e9ciaux, a d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 la r\u00e9union comme un appel \u00e0 une annexion forc\u00e9e, une violation du droit international humanitaire. Artists for Palestine UK a salu\u00e9 la d\u00e9cision du RBO comme \u201cune victoire morale et politique sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent dans le champ culturel britannique\u201d. Des voix inattendues sont venues de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur d\u2019Isra\u00ebl : un r\u00e9seau de m\u00e9decins, rabbins et anciens soldats a publi\u00e9 un communiqu\u00e9 affirmant que \u201cbombarder des h\u00f4pitaux \u00e0 Gaza est un crime, non une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9\u201d. Ce sont les m\u00eames qui, quelques mois auparavant, s\u2019\u00e9taient \u00e9lev\u00e9s contre la justification de l\u2019attaque contre l\u2019h\u00f4pital Al-Shifa comme \u201ccible militaire\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">La rupture symbolique au sein du RBO est aussi stylistique. Chor\u00e9graphes et directeurs musicaux ont d\u00e9missionn\u00e9 dans le silence. Des danseurs v\u00e9t\u00e9rans ont remis des lettres priv\u00e9es de d\u00e9mission ou de protestation. Les r\u00e9seaux internes ont filtr\u00e9 des t\u00e9moignages d\u2019\u201c\u00e9puisement moral\u201d et de \u201cfracture irr\u00e9versible\u201d entre la direction ex\u00e9cutive et les \u00e9quipes artistiques. Alex Beard, PDG du RBO, a invoqu\u00e9 publiquement des \u201craisons de s\u00e9curit\u00e9\u201d, mais en interne, on lui reproche de ne pas avoir prot\u00e9g\u00e9 l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 \u00e9thique de sa troupe.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">En plein effondrement civilisationnel, ce geste du Royal Ballet and Opera s\u2019inscrit dans une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9alogie de la r\u00e9sistance : pas celle des barricades violentes, mais celle de la barricade esth\u00e9tique, sensible et d\u00e9sob\u00e9issante. Comme cette ballerine chilienne qui a saut\u00e9 devant le blind\u00e9, ces corps artistiques se dressent, suspendus dans l\u2019air de l\u2019histoire, pour nous rappeler que la beaut\u00e9 aussi peut \u2014 et doit \u2014 savoir quand dire non. Plus jamais.
