Une pi\u00e8ce \u00e9tonnante qui retrace la gestion catastrophique du drame par les autorit\u00e9s et qui, alliant humour et th\u00e9\u00e2tre d\u2019objets, met c\u00f4te-\u00e0-c\u00f4te sur sc\u00e8ne la firme Tepco et un paysan japonais.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Comment mettre en sc\u00e8ne une catastrophe nucl\u00e9aire<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>? Apr\u00e8s l\u2019entreprise artistique os\u00e9e <a class=\"spip_out\" href=\"http:\/\/www.reporterre.net\/La-supplication\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external\">par St\u00e9phanie Lo\u00efk sur Tchernobyl<\/a>, Audrey Vernon s\u2019est essay\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019exercice th\u00e9\u00e2tral pour raconter Fukushima. <i>\u00ab<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>En travaillant sur l\u2019histoire de cet accident, la mise en sc\u00e8ne est venue d\u2019elle-m\u00eame, sous la forme d\u2019un th\u00e9\u00e2tre d\u2019objets<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>\u00bb<\/i>, explique-t-elle modestement au sujet de cette cr\u00e9ation, <i>Fukushima work in progress<\/i>, qui a connu ses trois premi\u00e8res repr\u00e9sentations au th\u00e9\u00e2tre de l\u2019Avant-Seine (Colombes) en mai dernier \u2013 et qui appelle, il faut l\u2019esp\u00e9rer, d\u2019autres dates.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"spip\">Pompiers miniatures et figurines en plastique<\/h3>\n<p>La jeune com\u00e9dienne a \u00e9crit elle-m\u00eame cette pi\u00e8ce, sous la forme d\u2019un duo sans dialogue\u00a0: sur la sc\u00e8ne, deux ensembles se confrontent, dans un rapport de force o\u00f9 jamais la parole ne s\u2019adresse directement \u00e0 l\u2019autre partie. D\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9, Tepco, l\u2019entreprise qui exploitait la centrale de Fukushima, jou\u00e9e par Audrey Vernon elle-m\u00eame. De l\u2019autre, un paysan japonais, droit, assis \u00e0 m\u00eame le sol, incarn\u00e9 par Xavier Mathieu, l\u2019ancien leader syndicaliste des <i>\u00ab<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>Conti\u2019<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>\u00bb<\/i>, reconverti acteur.<\/p>\n<p>Sur un \u00e9chafaudage en hauteur, \u00e9clair\u00e9 de mille feux par la magnifique \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 que produit Tepco, sa repr\u00e9sentante surplombe la sc\u00e8ne, all\u00e9gorie de cette entreprise qui revendique un contr\u00f4le total de la situation. Pourtant, en parodiant les proc\u00e9dures d\u2019urgence, o\u00f9 des mails recommandant l\u2019utilisation de brumisateurs pour <i>\u00ab<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>arroser une passoire<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>\u00bb<\/i>, et en moquant les dessins anim\u00e9s diffus\u00e9s \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9 pour faire oublier les pastilles d\u2019iode d\u00e9livr\u00e9es trop tard, c\u2019est bien sur le ridicule des heures qui ont suivi les \u00e9v\u00e9nements du 11\u00a0mars 2011 qu\u2019Audrey Vernon insiste.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"spip_document_9368 spip_documents spip_documents_center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/reporterre.net\/local\/cache-vignettes\/L700xH450\/int2-14-15ed7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"450\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019artiste manipule des camions de pompier miniatures et autres figurines en plastique\u00a0: <i>\u00ab<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>La fa\u00e7on dont ils ont g\u00e9r\u00e9 la catastrophe, c\u2019est un truc de b\u00e9b\u00e9<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>\u00bb<\/i>, explique-t-elle lorsqu\u2019on l\u2019interroge sur cette mise en sc\u00e8ne originale. Si les jouets accentuent bien entendu l\u2019amateurisme qui a gouvern\u00e9 ces missions de secours, ils symbolisent \u00e9galement l\u2019inconscience du danger, qui semble avoir caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 nombre des dirigeants dans les premi\u00e8res heures de la gestion de crise. A l\u2019image de l\u2019extension, jour apr\u00e8s jour, de la zone d\u2019expulsion, et de l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation, comme si de rien n\u2019\u00e9tait, du niveau de gravit\u00e9 de l\u2019accident sur l\u2019\u00e9chelle de l\u2019<span class=\"caps\">INES<\/span> \u2013 de 4 \u00e0 5, puis de 5 \u00e0 6, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 7 finalement, le niveau le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"spip\">Sensibilisation de l\u2019humour<\/h3>\n<p>Le contraste est saisissant avec le paysan japonais. Lui, ce n\u2019est pas du danger dont il est inconscient, mais des risques qu\u2019il encourt. Et face \u00e0 cette entreprise hors-sol, d\u00e9connect\u00e9e de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, il d\u00e9cide de rester sur sa terre natale. Alors que l\u2019\u00e9clairage de Tepco baisse \u00e0 mesure que la situation s\u2019aggrave, de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, Xavier Mathieu allume des bougies\u00a0: l\u2019homme joue litt\u00e9ralement avec le feu et n\u2019appara\u00eet aux yeux des spectateurs qu\u2019\u00e0 travers la lumi\u00e8re vacillante des bougies. La l\u00e9g\u00e8re fum\u00e9e qu\u2019elles d\u00e9gagent rappelle l\u2019inoubliable\u00a0: la radioactivit\u00e9 qui \u00e9mane de la terre m\u00eame pour laquelle il se bat.<\/p>\n<p>Audrey Vernon cherche \u00e0 interpeller\u00a0: <i>\u00ab<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>C\u2019est une \u00e9nergie qui pr\u00e9suppose l\u2019infini, tant dans la main d\u2019\u0153uvre que dans l\u2019eau qui lui est n\u00e9cessaire<\/i>, estime l\u2019auteure. <i>Mais baser une industrie sur l\u2019infini, c\u2019est quelque chose de tr\u00e8s \u00e9trange, non<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>?<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>\u00bb<\/i> En se fondant sur une recherche documentaire qui l\u2019a notamment vu \u00e9plucher le rapport de l\u2019<span class=\"caps\">IRSN<\/span> (Institut de radioprotection et de s\u00fbret\u00e9 nucl\u00e9aire) retra\u00e7ant le d\u00e9roul\u00e9 pr\u00e9cis des \u00e9v\u00e9nements, presque heure par heure, Audrey Vernon offre un travail pr\u00e9cis et p\u00e9dagogique sur cette source \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique\u00a0: on apprend ce qu\u2019est le corium, <i>\u00ab<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>cette lave chaude de c\u0153ur fondu<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>\u00bb<\/i>, et on comprend comment l\u2019eau de mer s\u2019est rapidement trouv\u00e9e contamin\u00e9e par la radioactivit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"spip_document_9367 spip_documents spip_documents_center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/reporterre.net\/local\/cache-vignettes\/L699xH456\/int-34-a9e28.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"699\" height=\"456\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mais il n\u2019est probablement pas de meilleure sensibilisation que l\u2019humour. Et Audrey Vernon use du cynisme avec beaucoup d\u2019intelligence lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019expliquer, notamment, les faibles indemnit\u00e9s vers\u00e9es aux victimes\u00a0: <i>\u00ab<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>Le prix du march\u00e9 a consid\u00e9rablement diminu\u00e9 dans le quartier de Fukushima.<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>\u00bb<\/i> Et si tous les Japonais sont finalement appel\u00e9s \u00e0 payer la lourde facture, il faudrait presque trouver normal qu\u2019aucune sanction <i>intuitu personae<\/i> n\u2019ait \u00e9t\u00e9 prononc\u00e9e\u00a0: <i>\u00ab<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>Condamner des personnes particuli\u00e8res n\u2019aurait rien chang\u00e9.<small class=\"fine\">\u00a0<\/small>\u00bb<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s <i>Comment \u00e9pouser un milliardaire<\/i> et <i>Marx et Jenny<\/i>, Audrey Vernon poursuit donc son travail autour du capitalisme, dont le nucl\u00e9aire semble ici exacerber la nature\u00a0: un pouvoir arrogant, mensonger et destructeur.
