Les r\u00e9sultats de la recherche ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s dans la revue <a href=\"https:\/\/science.sciencemag.org\/content\/368\/6489\/405\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Science<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>La surface de V\u00e9nus, dont la taille et la gravit\u00e9 sont similaires \u00e0 celles de la Terre, est difficile \u00e0 explorer car son ciel est enti\u00e8rement recouvert d&rsquo;\u00e9pais nuages d&rsquo;acide sulfurique et la temp\u00e9rature de la plan\u00e8te est de 460 degr\u00e9s Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>La surface de V\u00e9nus met 243 jours terrestres pour effectuer une rotation sur son axe, tandis que son atmosph\u00e8re tourne presque 60 fois plus vite que sa surface, effectuant un tour de la plan\u00e8te tous les quatre jours. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces donn\u00e9es, ils ont pu suivre les mouvements des nuages de V\u00e9nus et cartographier les vents de la plan\u00e8te et la fa\u00e7on dont la chaleur circule dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Des \u00e9tudes ant\u00e9rieures avaient laiss\u00e9 entendre que, pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer ce type de rotation, l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re de V\u00e9nus devait poss\u00e9der un moment angulaire suffisant, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;impulsion dont un corps dispose gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa rotation, pour d\u00e9passer le frottement avec la surface de la plan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont maintenant d\u00e9couvert que l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re de V\u00e9nus re\u00e7oit son impulsion angulaire par le biais des mar\u00e9es thermiques, qui sont des variations de la pression atmosph\u00e9rique dues au r\u00e9chauffement solaire pr\u00e8s de l&rsquo;\u00e9quateur de la plan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Il y avait une suggestion que les
