Estos planetas se encuentran orbitando a la estrella GJ1061, que es considerado el vig\u00e9simo sistema estelar m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximo a la Tierra,\u00a0informa\u00a0el portal Phys.org.<\/p>\n<p>Durante su investigaci\u00f3n los cient\u00edficos estudiaron la estrella GJ1061 para determinar si tiene planetas y si estos podr\u00edan albergar vida. Estudios anteriores de otro sistema estelar, el m\u00e1s cercano a la Tierra a unos 4,2 a\u00f1os luz\u00a0y denominado Pr\u00f3xima Centauri, demostraron que sus planetas no podr\u00edan albergar vida debido a la volatilidad de la estrella.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baja volatilidad<\/strong><br \/>\nEl sistema estelar GJ1061, que se encuentra aproximadamente a unos\u00a017,5 a\u00f1os luz\u00a0de distancia, es considerado como una estrella peque\u00f1a, de menor masa y de baja volatilidad, lo que podr\u00eda apuntar a la existencia de planetas habitables en su \u00f3rbita.<\/p>\n<p>Haciendo uso de datos obtenidos por el Observatorio Europeo Austral (ESO) ubicado en Chile, el equipo de cient\u00edficos hall\u00f3 evidencia de la existencia de tres planetas y posiblemente de un cuarto. Para esto utilizaron el m\u00e9todo de velocidad radial, que consiste en observar peque\u00f1as oscilaciones en la \u00f3rbita de una estrella, lo que significa que la gravedad de un planeta tira de ella.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zona habitable<\/strong><br \/>\nLos estudios demostraron que los tres planetas son un poco m\u00e1s grandes que la Tierra y que orbitan\u00a0cerca de su estrella. Los cient\u00edficos se interesaron especialmente en uno de ellos denominado planeta d, y descubrieron que este tard\u00f3 tan solo\u00a013 d\u00edas\u00a0en completar una vuelta alrededor de su estrella, lo que lo coloca en la zona que podr\u00eda ser habitable.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, explicaron que desafortunadamente este tipo de estrellas\u00a0tienden a tener una historia vol\u00e1til.
