La movilidad urbana en ciudades como Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen o Chengdu no es producto de improvisaci\u00f3n ni de promesas electorales. Es planificaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica, inversi\u00f3n sostenida y visi\u00f3n de futuro.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras en Am\u00e9rica Latina a\u00fan debatimos sobre buses el\u00e9ctricos piloto, trenes sin financiamiento o sistemas de pago fragmentados, China ya ha ejecutado una transformaci\u00f3n estructural en la movilidad urbana de m\u00e1s de 500 millones de personas. El resultado es claro: menos congesti\u00f3n, mayor eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, menores emisiones y mejor calidad de vida.<\/p>\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos comparativos, la inversi\u00f3n china solo en transporte urbano terrestre (sin contar metros ni trenes de alta velocidad) ya supera ampliamente el presupuesto de transporte p\u00fablico de todos los pa\u00edses latinoamericanos juntos durante la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada. Y eso sin incluir los miles de millones adicionales invertidos en tecnolog\u00eda, control de flotas, integraci\u00f3n tarifaria y sostenibilidad ambiental.<\/p>\n<p>China no est\u00e1 improvisando. Est\u00e1 mostrando al mundo c\u00f3mo se construye infraestructura p\u00fablica para el siglo XXI. En un contexto de crisis clim\u00e1tica, urbanizaci\u00f3n acelerada y desigualdad creciente, este modelo de transporte p\u00fablico representa m\u00e1s que eficiencia: representa justicia territorial y planificaci\u00f3n a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>Am\u00e9rica Latina debe mirar con humildad estos datos. No para copiarlos, sino para comprender que el desarrollo exige decisi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica, capacidad t\u00e9cnica y visi\u00f3n de futuro. La movilidad no puede seguir siendo un bot\u00edn municipal ni una promesa electoral. Debe ser parte central de la estrategia de desarrollo nacional. Si no lo entendemos nos quedaremos atrapados en el tr\u00e1fico\u2026 y en el pasado.<\/p>\n<p>Aqu\u00ed las cifras, que son aproximadas y se basan en promedios y estimaciones. Los costos reales pueden variar seg\u00fan la ciudad, la tecnolog\u00eda adoptada, la antig\u00fcedad de la flota y la modalidad de financiaci\u00f3n. Los valores presentados corresponden principalmente al parque vehicular. La inversi\u00f3n en infraestructura (v\u00edas exclusivas, terminales, sistemas de gesti\u00f3n y mantenimiento) puede elevar significativamente el total invertido en cada modalidad, pero estos datos suelen publicarse por separado y var\u00edan entre proyectos.<\/p>\n<p>Resumen global por tipo de transporte urbano (solo veh\u00edculos):<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Autobuses\/BRT: Valor aproximado del parque vehicular entre 100.000 y 140.000 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Taxis: Valor total estimado entre 20.000 y 40.000 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Tranv\u00edas \/ Light Rail: Valor aproximado (solo en veh\u00edculos) entre 1.000 y 3.000 millones de d\u00f3lares.
