mundo y ahora acaba de batir todas las marcas.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Un equipo de cient\u00edficos del Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR)\u00a0de\u00a0M\u00e9xico, afirmaron que \u00ab<strong>a\u00fan no se ha alcanzado<\/strong>\u00bb el fondo del agujero azul Taam Ja&#8217;, localizado en la bah\u00eda de Chetumal de la pen\u00ednsula de Yucat\u00e1n, al sureste del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/articles\/10.3389\/fmars.2024.1387235\/full\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">publicaron<\/a>\u00a0este lunes un art\u00edculo en Frontiers in Marine Science, donde explican que sus dispositivos de exploraci\u00f3n de este abismo marino, ubicado muy cerca del lugar donde\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/esrt.space\/actualidad\/486166-perecieron-dinosaurios-polvo-impacto-asteroide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">impact\u00f3<\/a>\u00a0<strong>el asteroide Chicxulub,<\/strong>\u00a0que se cree que provoc\u00f3 la extinci\u00f3n de los dinosaurios, solo les permitieron llegar hasta una profundidad de 420\u00a0metros bajo el nivel del mar (mbnm), pero no mundo<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><strong>Batiendo r\u00e9cords<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Con estas nuevas mediciones, el Taam Ja&#8217;, que viene de la expresi\u00f3n maya para referirse al &#8216;agua profunda&#8217;, es al menos 100 metros m\u00e1s profundo que el agujero azul <a href=\"https:\/\/actualidad.rt.com\/actualidad\/302935-agujero-azul-marino-profundo-mundo-china\">hallado<\/a>\u00a0en China en el 2016, el Sansha Yongle, <strong>cuya profundidad llega a los 300 metros<\/strong> y era considerado, hasta el momento, como la estructura k\u00e1rstica marina m\u00e1s profunda del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>A inicios del 2023, casi el mismo equipo cient\u00edfico de ECOSUR\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/esrt.space\/actualidad\/464937-descubren-mexico-segundo-agujero-mas-profundo-mundo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">posicion\u00f3<\/a>\u00a0moment\u00e1neamente al Taam Ja&#8217; como el segundo m\u00e1s hondo del mundo, con base en los resultados de datos de ecograf\u00eda que\u00a0<strong>indicaban una profundidad de 274,4 mbnm<\/strong>. En la punta hab\u00eda un instrumento capaz de medir datos de presi\u00f3n, temperatura y conductividad del agua.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando se extendieron los 500 metros de cable, el dispositivo a\u00fan no hab\u00eda llegado al fondo.
