Este grupo de cient\u00edficos, liderado por los profesores Luo Yi, Jiang Jun y Shang Weiwei, ha desarrollado un robot qu\u00edmico impulsado por inteligencia artificial (IA) capaz de sintetizar catalizadores para la producci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno utilizando meteoritos marcianos.<\/p>\n<p>La iniciativa surge ante el desaf\u00edo de colonizar Marte, donde la producci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno a partir de catalizadores OER (Oxygen Evolution Reaction) se considera esencial. El transporte de estos catalizadores desde la Tierra resulta costoso, y la clave est\u00e1 en encontrar m\u00e9todos para sintetizarlos in situ utilizando materiales marcianos.<\/p>\n<p>El profesor Luo Yi destaca la innovaci\u00f3n de este enfoque: \u00abEl qu\u00edmico de IA sintetiza de forma innovadora catalizadores OER a partir de material marciano gracias a la cooperaci\u00f3n interdisciplinaria\u00bb. El proceso implica el an\u00e1lisis, pretratamiento y optimizaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica de minerales marcianos por parte del robot con IA.<\/p>\n<p>En cada ciclo experimental, el robot de IA analiza la composici\u00f3n elemental de los minerales utilizando espectroscopia de descomposici\u00f3n inducida por l\u00e1ser (LIBS). Luego, realiza pretratamientos, prepara soluciones y lleva a cabo pruebas electroqu\u00edmicas. El \u00abcerebro\u00bb computacional del qu\u00edmico de IA procesa datos en tiempo real, empleando simulaciones de qu\u00edmica cu\u00e1ntica y din\u00e1mica molecular para optimizar catalizadores.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta ahora, el robot de IA ha logrado crear un catalizador excepcional utilizando meteoritos marcianos, funcionando de manera constante durante m\u00e1s de 550 000 segundos.
