varios observatorios y el telescopio Hubble, un equipo internacional de astr\u00f3nomos logr\u00f3 documentar el momento exacto en que una estrella supergigante roja colaps\u00f3 por su propia gravedad y explot\u00f3 en una supernova, ofreciendo \u00abuna visi\u00f3n en tiempo real\u00bb y \u00absin precedentes de los primeros momentos de la desaparici\u00f3n catacl\u00edsmica\u00bb de un cuerpo celeste de este tipo, <a href=\"https:\/\/hubblesite.org\/contents\/news-releases\/2021\/news-2021-007\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">se\u00f1al\u00f3<\/a> la NASA en un comunicado.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo a la agencia estadounidense, la supernova SN 2020fqv, descubierta en abril del 2020 en las galaxias Mariposa, situada a unos 60 millones de a\u00f1os luz en la constelaci\u00f3n de Virgo, fue observada simult\u00e1neamente por el proyecto Zwicky Transient Facility del Observatorio Palomar en San Diego y por el Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), un sat\u00e9lite de la NASA dise\u00f1ado principalmente para descubrir exoplanetas.<\/p>\n<p>Tras el hallazgo, cient\u00edficos de varios observatorios y centros de investigaci\u00f3n apuntaron hacia la supernova sus telescopios, incluido el Hubble, logrando sondear el material muy cercano que fue expulsado por la estrella en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de su vida, observaciones que arrojan nueva luz
