Si bien no se conocen mucho los efectos exactos de estas reversiones en la vida terrestre, el estudio de los investigadores japoneses ofrece un mejor entendimiento de los procesos geol\u00f3gicos previos al cambio y c\u00f3mo el planeta reaccion\u00f3 despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Para reconstruir la secuencia completa de la \u00faltima inversi\u00f3n geomagn\u00e9tica, los cient\u00edficos realizaron an\u00e1lisis paleomagn\u00e9ticos de rocas de nuevas muestras de la secci\u00f3n compuesta de Chiba, una sucesi\u00f3n marina continua y expandida en el centro de Jap\u00f3n, cont\u00f3 Haneda, quien explic\u00f3 que se considera que esta zona contiene el registro sedimentario marino m\u00e1s detallado de aquel cambio de campos magn\u00e9ticos.<\/p>\n<figure
