Und wo nicht, ist Migration kein nennenswertes Thema mehr, der Realit\u00e4t entsprechend.<\/p>\n<p>In \u00d6sterreich, Ungarn, Italien und Griechenland ist die Einstellung der breiten Masse gegen\u00fcber MigrantInnen besonders negativ und von massenmedial gesch\u00fcrten Vorurteilen durchdrungen, wie das Studienprojekt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedwind.at\/fileadmin\/user_upload\/Ciak_MigrACTION_final_report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ciak MigrACTION<\/a> offenbarte, das heute vom Verein S\u00fcdwind vorgestellt wurde.<\/p>\n<h3>\u201eGef\u00fchlte Wahrheiten\u201c sind Fehleinsch\u00e4tzungen<\/h3>\n<p>In \u00d6sterreich (aber auch in Ungarn) ist \u201egef\u00fchlte Wahrheit\u201c besonders stark von der Realit\u00e4t abweichend: Die Wahrnehmung des Ausma\u00dfes von Migration ist viel h\u00f6her als die tats\u00e4chlichen Zahlen. Der Anteil an Migrantinnen und Migranten sowie Musliminnen und Muslimen wird um 19% h\u00f6her gesch\u00e4tzt, als er tats\u00e4chlich ist. (35% anstatt 16% Migrantinnen bzw. 26% anstatt 7% Musliminnen).<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr 39% macht es keinen Unterschied, ob jemand fl\u00fcchtet oder migriert. 41% von befragten 1000 Personen f\u00fchlen sich von MigrantInnen in ihrer Sicherheit bedroht, ganze 29% w\u00fcrden Boots-Fl\u00fcchtende am Liebsten wieder in ihre Herkunftsl\u00e4nder zur\u00fcckschicken. 49% stehen Migration neutral oder positiv gegen\u00fcber, 49 % bef\u00fcrchten hingegen negative Auswirkungen.<\/p>\n<h3>Medial verst\u00e4rkte Meinungen<\/h3>\n<p>Verst\u00e4rkt wird diese verzerrte Wahrnehmung einerseits durch soziale Medien, wo man sich meist nur mit Gleichgesinnten austauscht, Fake News ungepr\u00fcft weitertransportiert und die eigene Meinung best\u00e4tigt bekommt. Andererseits hat die (rechtspopulistische) Politik gro\u00dfen Einfluss, indem sie durch sogenanntes Framing gezielt Meinungen steuert und Emotionen sch\u00fcrt. Diese werden dann durch klassische Medien weitertransportiert.<\/p>\n<p>Die \u00fcberdimensionale Berichterstattung zum Thema, eine stark vereinfachte Darstellung, wobei die Begriffe Fl\u00fcchtlinge, Asylsuchende und MigrantInnen oftmals vermischt und austauschbar verwendet werden, f\u00fchrt zu Missverst\u00e4ndnissen und falscher Gewichtung beim Leser.<\/p>\n<h3>Appell zur Objektivit\u00e4t<\/h3>\n<p>Die UNHCR, die Internationale Organisation f\u00fcr Migration (IOM), der Fonds Soziales Wien sowie der Verein S\u00fcdwind appellieren daher vor allem an Medien und JournalistInnen, auf mehr Objektivit\u00e4t und Ausgewogenheit in der Berichterstattung zu achten.<\/p>\n<p>Als die gr\u00f6\u00dften Herausforderungen und Sorgenkinder bei der Bev\u00f6lkerung gelten allerdings in allen L\u00e4ndern die Themen soziale Sicherheit, steigende Preise und Arbeitslosigkeit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Das Migrationsthema ist mehr von Fiktion und Fake News gepr\u00e4gt, denn durch Fakten \u2013 und die Medien machen sich mitschuldig daran, so eine neue Studie.
