{"id":884241,"date":"2019-07-08T17:00:38","date_gmt":"2019-07-08T16:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pressenza.com\/?p=884241"},"modified":"2019-07-08T17:00:38","modified_gmt":"2019-07-08T16:00:38","slug":"setzen-sie-bds-nicht-mit-antisemitismus-gleich","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pressenza.com\/de\/2019\/07\/setzen-sie-bds-nicht-mit-antisemitismus-gleich\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00abSetzen sie BDS nicht mit Antisemitismus gleich\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mitte Mai wiesen j\u00fcdische und israelische Wissenschaftler, von denen viele in den Bereichen Antisemitismusforschung, j\u00fcdische Geschichte und Geschichte des Holocaust spezialisiert sind, auf den alarmierenden und zunehmenden Trend hin, Unterst\u00fctzer pal\u00e4stinensischer Menschenrechte als antisemitisch abzustempeln.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dies geschah in einem an den Deutschen Bundestag gerichteten Aufruf zu mehreren Antr\u00e4gen, die gegen die Bewegung f\u00fcr Boykott-, Desinvestitions- und Sanktionsmassnahmen (BDS) eingereicht wurden. Viele von uns haben diesen Aufruf unterzeichnet.<\/p>\n<p>Am 17. Mai wurde einer dieser Antr\u00e4ge, eingereicht durch die Bundestagsfraktionen von CDU\/CSU, SPD, FDP und B\u00fcndnis 90\/Die Gr\u00fcnen, angenommen. Wir lehnen diesen Beschluss, der auf dem falschen Vorwurf beruht, dass BDS als solches Antisemitismus gleichkommt, ab. Wir fordern die Bundesregierung auf, diesem Beschluss nicht zu folgen und Antisemitismus zu bek\u00e4mpfen, w\u00e4hrend sie die Meinungs- und Vereinigungsfreiheit, die unbestreitbar angegriffen werden, respektiert und sch\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n<p>Wie in der fr\u00fcheren Erkl\u00e4rung zum Ausdruck gebracht, betrachten wir Antisemitismus und alle Formen von Rassismus und Fanatismus als Bedrohungen, die bek\u00e4mpft werden m\u00fcssen, und wir ermutigen die deutsche Regierung und den Bundestag, dies zu tun. Der Bundestagsbeschluss unterst\u00fctzt diesen Kampf jedoch nicht. Im Gegenteil, er untergr\u00e4bt ihn.<\/p>\n<p>Die Meinungen zu BDS gehen unter den Unterzeichnern dieses Aufrufs erheblich auseinander: Manche m\u00f6gen BDS unterst\u00fctzen, w\u00e4hrend andere es aus verschiedenen Gr\u00fcnden ablehnen. Wir alle lehnen jedoch gleichermassen die tr\u00fcgerische Behauptung ab, BDS sei als solches antisemitisch, und wir bekr\u00e4ftigen, dass Boykotte ein legitimes und gewaltfreies Mittel des Widerstands sind. Wir, darunter f\u00fchrende Antisemitismusforscher, erkl\u00e4ren, dass man nach dem Inhalt und dem Kontext seiner Worte und Taten als Antisemit betrachtet werden sollte \u2013 ob sie nun von BDS-Unterst\u00fctzern stammen oder nicht.<\/p>\n<p>Bedauerlicherweise ignoriert der Beschluss die ausdr\u00fcckliche Ablehnung \u201ealler Formen von Rassismus, einschliesslich Antisemitismus\u201c durch die BDS-Bewegung. Die BDS-Bewegung versucht, die Regierungspolitik eines Staates zu beeinflussen, der f\u00fcr die anhaltende Besetzung und Unterdr\u00fcckung des pal\u00e4stinensischen Volkes verantwortlich ist. Eine solche Politik kann nicht immun gegen Kritik sein. In diesem Zusammenhang ist auch anzumerken, dass viele j\u00fcdische und israelische Einzelpersonen und Gruppen BDS entweder ausdr\u00fccklich unterst\u00fctzen oder das Recht darauf verteidigen. Wir halten es f\u00fcr unangemessen und beleidigend, wenn deutsche Regierungs- und parlamentarische Institutionen sie als antisemitisch abstempeln.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus entsprechen die drei Hauptziele des BDS \u2013 die Beendigung der Besatzung, die volle Gleichberechtigung der arabischen B\u00fcrger Israels und das Recht auf R\u00fcckkehr der pal\u00e4stinensischen Fl\u00fcchtlinge \u2013 internationalem Recht, auch wenn das dritte Ziel zweifellos diskussionsw\u00fcrdig ist. Wir sind entsetzt dar\u00fcber, dass Forderungen nach Gleichberechtigung und der Einhaltung des V\u00f6lkerrechts als antisemitisch angesehen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Wir kommen zu dem Schluss, dass der Anstieg des Antisemitismus eindeutig nicht die Sorge ist, die den vom Bundestag beschlossenen Antrag inspiriert hat. Im Gegenteil, dieser Antrag ist von den politischen Interessen und der Politik der am st\u00e4rksten rechtsgerichteten Regierung Israels in der Geschichte des Landes angetrieben.<\/p>\n<p>Seit Jahren bezeichnet die israelische Regierung unter Premierminister Benjamin Netanyahu jede Opposition gegen ihre illegale und friedenssch\u00e4digende Politik als antisemitisch. Es kann niemanden \u00fcberraschen, dass Netanyahu den Beschluss des Bundestages sehr begr\u00fcsst hat. Dies veranschaulicht, wie der Kampf gegen den Antisemitismus instrumentalisiert wird, um die Politik der israelischen Regierung abzuschirmen, die schwere Menschenrechtsverletzungen verursacht und die Chancen auf Frieden zerst\u00f6rt. Wir halten es f\u00fcr inakzeptabel und absolut kontraproduktiv, wenn die Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr \u201edas Existenzrecht des j\u00fcdischen und demokratischen Staates Israel\u201c und der Kampf gegen Antisemitismus diese Politik tats\u00e4chlich f\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n<p>Zu allem \u00dcberfluss unterscheidet der angenommene Antrag nicht zwischen Israel und den besetzten pal\u00e4stinensischen Gebieten. Er verurteilt kategorisch alle Boykotte israelischer Unternehmen und Waren \u2013 einschliesslich der Unternehmen und Waren aus illegalen israelischen Siedlungen. Infolgedessen w\u00fcrde er eine Kampagne zum Boykott von Produkten eines an Menschenrechtsverletzungen beteiligten Unternehmens in einer Siedlung als antisemitisch einstufen. Dies stellt einen bedauerlichen R\u00fcckzug von der eindeutigen und konsequenten Ablehnung durch die Bundesregierung und die EU der israelischen Siedlungspolitik dar.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus ignoriert der Antrag, dass Erkl\u00e4rungen im Zusammenhang mit BDS durch die Meinungsfreiheit gesch\u00fctzt sind, wie auch von der EU best\u00e4tigt, die \u201efest entschlossen ist, die Meinungs- und Vereinigungsfreiheit im Einklang mit der Charta der Grundrechte der Europ\u00e4ischen Union zu sch\u00fctzen, die auf dem Hoheitsgebiet der EU-Mitgliedstaaten anwendbar ist, einschliesslich in Bezug auf BDS-Aktionen, die in diesem Gebiet durchgef\u00fchrt werden\u201c. Gerade auf Grund seiner Geschichte sollte Deutschland bez\u00fcglich eines R\u00fcckzugs von diesen demokratischen Grundnormen sehr vorsichtig sein.<\/p>\n<p>Abschliessend ist festzustellen, dass die Vermischung von BDS und Antisemitismus den dringenden Kampf gegen Antisemitismus nicht f\u00f6rdert. Die antisemitische Bedrohung geht nicht von pal\u00e4stinensischen Menschenrechtsaktivisten aus, sondern vor allem von der extremen Rechten und von dschihadistischen Gruppen. Die Leugnung dieser Tatsache k\u00f6nnte Muslime und Araber dem bedeutenden Kampf gegen Antisemitismus entfremden und behindert die Herausbildung echter Solidarit\u00e4t zwischen Juden, Israelis, Muslimen und Arabern im Kampf gegen Antisemitismus und andere Formen von Rassismus. Sie sendet auch eine falsche Botschaft an diejenigen, die sich der Unterdr\u00fcckung des pal\u00e4stinensischen Volkes mit gewaltfreien Mitteln widersetzen.<\/p>\n<p>Aus all diesen Gr\u00fcnden lehnen wir, j\u00fcdische und israelische Wissenschaftler, den Antrag von CDU\/CSU, SPD, FDP und B\u00fcndnis 90\/Die Gr\u00fcnen ab. Nach dem Bundestagsbeschluss fordern wir nun die Bundesregierung auf, diesem Antrag nicht zu folgen und BDS nicht mit Antisemitismus gleichzusetzen. Vielmehr muss die Bundesregierung ihrer positiven Verantwortung zur F\u00f6rderung und zum Schutz der Meinungs- und Vereinigungsfreiheit nachkommen.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus rufen wir die Bundesregierung dazu auf, ihre direkte und indirekte Finanzierung israelischer und pal\u00e4stinensischer Nichtregierungsorganisationen aufrechtzuerhalten, die der israelischen Besatzung friedlich entgegenwirken, schwere Verst\u00f6sse gegen das V\u00f6lkerrecht aufdecken und die Zivilgesellschaft st\u00e4rken. Diese Organisationen verteidigen die Prinzipien und Werte, die das Herzst\u00fcck der liberalen Demokratie und Rechtsstaatlichkeit in Deutschland und andernorts bilden.
