In Deutschland wird der Grenzwert von 40 Mikrogramm NOx pro Kubikmeter jedoch jedes Jahr an etwa zwei Dritteln aller verkehrsnahen Messstationen \u00fcberschritten. Studien zufolge sch\u00e4digt das die Gesundheit der B\u00fcrger und kostet sogar Leben. Belastet werden die Menschen vor allem mit giftigen Stickoxiden (NOx).
