Der dritte landesweite Aktionstag der Bewegung \u201eNo Kings\u201c in den Vereinigten Staaten \u2013 nach den Mobilisierungen im Juni und Oktober 2025 \u2013 hat mehr als 3.000 Orte umfasst: von gro\u00dfen Metropolen bis hin zu kleinen l\u00e4ndlichen Gemeinden. Nahezu 300 Organisationen beteiligten sich daran.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die Proteste vereinten unterschiedliche Anliegen: Widerstand gegen Donald Trump und seine als autorit\u00e4r kritisierten Machtanspr\u00fcche ebenso wie Kritik an Krieg, Rassismus und der als brutal beschriebenen Vorgehensweise der US-Einwanderungsbeh\u00f6rde ICE gegen\u00fcber Migrant*innen.<\/p>\n

Die Mobilisierung zeigte sich kreativ und vielf\u00e4ltig \u2013 unter anderem in Tausenden handgefertigten Plakaten, die bei den Demonstrationen getragen wurden. Sie spiegeln eine Form \u201eradikaler Freundlichkeit\u201c wider, wie sie von Jane Fonda beim zentralen Ereignis des Tages hervorgehoben wurde: einer Gro\u00dfkundgebung in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dort traten unter anderem Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez und Bernie Sanders auf.<\/p>\n

Bruce Springsteen bezeichnete Minnesota als \u201eInspiration f\u00fcr das ganze Land\u201c und spielte den Song \u201eStreets of Minneapolis\u201c. Das Lied ist dem Widerstand der Bev\u00f6lkerung gegen ICE-Razzien gewidmet und erinnert an Alex Pretti und Renee Good, die bei Eins\u00e4tzen ums Leben kamen. W\u00e4hrenddessen riefen Teile der Menge \u201eICE out now!\u201c.<\/p>\n

Auch in New York kam es zu einer gro\u00dfen Demonstration. Daran beteiligten sich unter anderem der Schauspieler Robert De Niro, die Generalstaatsanw\u00e4ltin Letitia James sowie der B\u00fcrgerrechtsaktivist Reverend Al Sharpton.<\/p>\n
