Alle auf dieser Fl\u00e4che produzierten Lebensmittel werden, gehegt, gepflegt, bew\u00e4ssert, ged\u00fcngt, geerntet, verarbeitet, verpackt, transportiert, gelagert &#8211; um am Ende in der Tonne zu landen. Weisst Du warum? Die Kartoffel ist zu gro\u00df, der Apfel zu klein, die Gurke zu krumm, die Banane zu gelb, das Brot ist zu alt, das meiste ist zu billig und es gibt einfach zu viel. Von dem, was weggeworfen wird, k\u00f6nnten alle hungernden Menschen mehrfach satt werden. Aber auch die\u00a0Erde geschont werden und weniger Wasser, D\u00fcnger, Pestizide, Erd\u00f6l, Arbeitszeit eingespart werden.&#8220; So informiert uns die Initiative <em>foodsharing<\/em> auf ihrer <a href=\"https:\/\/foodsharing.de\">Webseite<\/a>. Und sie pr\u00e4sentiert auch gleich ein L\u00f6sung, woran sich jeder und jede beteiligen kann: <em>Teile Lebensmittel, anstatt sie wegzuwerfen!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In 2012 startete das Projekt mit einer ersten Kooperation mit einem Supermarkt in Berlin. Heute gibt es \u00fcber 1.500 Betriebe in Deutschland, \u00d6sterreich und der Schweiz, in denen mehr als 7000 sogenannte Foodsaver regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Lebensmittel abholen, die sonst weggeworfen werden w\u00fcrden. Zusammen wurden so mehr als 1,7 Millionen Kilo Lebensmittel gerettet und verteilt.<\/p>\n<p>Nun m\u00f6chte die Graswurzelbewegung zum &#8222;Global Player&#8220; werden und international expandieren. Daf\u00fcr wird eine weltweite und kostenlose Open Source Plattform in verschiednen Sprachen ben\u00f6tigt. Um das zu verwirklichen, l\u00e4dt sie EntwicklerInnen, ProgrammiererInnen, FilmemacherInnen und DesignerInnen zu den &#8222;<a href=\"http:\/\/wuppdays.foodsharing.de\/\">foodsharing Wupp Days<\/a>\u201d ein.
