Unter diesem Motto wir am 21. M\u00e4rz zum bundesweiten Aktionstag f\u00fcr die Europ\u00e4ische B\u00fcrgerinitiative Stop TTIP auf. Ein B\u00fcndnis aus \u00fcber 370\u00a0anderen Organisationen k\u00e4mpft f\u00fcr einen Stopp der Verhandlungen und hat eine selbstorganisierte Europ\u00e4ische B\u00fcrgerinitiative (EBI) gestartet, nachdem die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission den Start einer offiziellen EBI mit rechtlich fadenscheiniger Begr\u00fcndung ablehnte.<\/strong><\/p>\n

„Stop TTIP“ hat bereits zwei wichtige formale H\u00fcrden f\u00fcr eine offizielle EBI \u00fcbersprungen: Die 1 Million Unterschriften und die Unterschriftenh\u00fcrde in sieben EU-Mitgliedstaaten. Trotzdem wird bis zur n\u00e4chsten Million weitergesammelt.<\/p>\n

Derzeit verhandeln die EU und die USA den transatlantischen Handels- und Investitionsvertrag TTIP. CETA, ein \u00e4hnliches Abkommen mit Kanada, steht vor der Ratifizierung. Diese Abkommen drohen, Demokratie und Rechtsstaat, Umwelt- und Verbraucherschutz zugunsten von Wirtschaftsinteressen auszuhebeln.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
