coming from behind,

smells pungent and fragrant…

tastes sweet and bitter

race to the front lines.

ah, memories may be buried but not dead.

Words are like dresses …

Having tried or used them, one learns

whether the outfit was apt for the occasion or the season, or in agreement

with one’s internal landscape. hopefully.

presently, a past

dominant until today

seems behind –

under the gentle rays

of the morning sun,

birds tweet new melodies.

..a tear dropping

after rising from within;

…a breath inhaled and

exhaled;

…an autumn, a spring, a winter and a summer – riding in the winds-

…am i too.
