LITERARY

By Yani Perez

Hmmm
It’s bold
I like it

Have you ever
Seen words
Dance in
The moonlight
And then
they ask you
to spin with them?

Maestro

You were the words
The dance
The spin

You must feel
Drink
Live

Poet

“I don’t drink”

Two out of three is okay.

Let me tell you how love works
Start with a hint of morning mist
A dash of merengue lust
A bucket of calid passion
Sprinkle rose buds of sweat
Pop in a fruit of patience
Don’t forget the words…

Maestro

I will not forget the words

I will not forget …you

Thank you
