With a great spirit of reconciliation, hundreds marched in support of human life. The march was initiated  by Antanas Mockus in Bogota , Colombia and simultaneously in over 50 cities around the world.

The March for Life calls to stop violence, the lost of lives in Colombia and to continue the peace process on a promise of a future without violence. It is a very opportune moment since there is now a peace negotiations discussion in Havana, Cuba between the FARC and the government, to end a 50 years armed conflict in Colombia . At the end of the mobilization at City Hall, Maria Fernanda Cepeda, read the declaration of Antanas Mockus
